Is there a fast and stable internet connection?

Every apartment and house has a fiber-optic connection. A plan can be booked by phone at any time. The plans are prepaid and can be booked daily, weekly, or monthly. The internet connection is stable and fast. Starlink will also be available soon.

Are there frequent power outages?

The power supply in Tanzania and Zanzibar still needs improvement. Outages of 2 to 20 minutes can occur several times a day.

In Fumba Town, an optional backup system is available to tenants on a subscription basis. For example, the power backup system for a 50 sqm apartment costs €4.50 per month.

How many people can receive the Golden Visa?

Permanent residence for Tanzania/Zanzibar is granted to the investor and up to 5 additional family members.

Can multiple people purchase a property together?

Yes. Only one person receives the Golden Visa. If the second person is not a family member, they can only obtain a Golden Visa through their own separate investment.

Are there additional costs for the Golden Visa?

Yes. Initially, the visa is issued for 2 years. As long as you remain the property owner, the visa will be continuously renewed.

The costs for 2 years are:

• $500 for the first person

• $50 for each additional person

For example, a family with two children would pay less than €600 for 2 years.
